iPad has changed the way people work, play, watch, learn and communicate. With each new version, it's become an essential part of people's lives. iPad has been a long-standing, concrete figure in our business as well as our home.
Before iPad and iPhone:
- Lacked real-time information at the front line
- Relied on information from disparate sources
- More reactive than proactive due to missing data
- Retrieving printed documentation could take days
At Pure iTek, we are pros at iPad integration. As iOS evolves we deploy software updates and new functions to multiple generations of iOS because we know it's important to protect your investment in iPad and iPhone while productivity is uninterrupted. Pure iTek makes iOS deployment simple, fast and scaleable.

- Apps optimize resource allocation and operations
- Delivers integrated data at the front line

The iPad Air 2 is the biggest redesign to iPad since the original iPad. It's incredibly thin, light and filled with amazing features, making it more capable than ever before. It truly represents the power of lightness.
Everything looks amazing on iPad Air 2.
- Integrated hardware and software
- Comprehensive security
- Simple, scaleable deployment
- Powerful app platform
If you have an iPad rollout Pure iTek can take over using Mobile Device Management (MDM). This allows us to seamlessly manage devices without impacting the user experience because these controls are transparent to the user.
iOS In Business
A different approach.
So what is it about iPhone and iPad that make them such a great choice for business?
First, Apple makes both the hardware and the software. Security is considered at every point - from device and data protection, through network communications, to apps. With our Apple consultant support we simplify deployment. Even for deployments into the tens of thousands. And finally, we make it possible for you to put the power of apps to work in your business, driving productivity and creating differentiation.
This approach has led to iPhone and iPad being used at work in more ways than we could have imagined...
iCal Sharing
A lot happens in a single day. The days whiz by in a blur and before you know it Christmas is 2 weeks away. Between being a husband, father and running a business, it is easy to lose sight of our priorities.
iCal sharing implemented across all home and business devices (Mac, iPad, iPhone) keeps our family in sync.
You can share a calendar both publicly and privately with other people.
Share a calendar privately
1. Click the Share button to the right of the calendar name in the sidebar, then select Private Calendar.
Note: You can also share the same calendar publicly. For instructions, see the next task, “Share a calendar publicly.”
2. Type the invitee’s email address in the Add Person field and press Return.
3. Click the pop-up menu with the invitee’s name and choose access privileges (View & Edit or View Only).
4. For each person you want to share the calendar with, repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. When you’ve invited everyone and set their privileges, click OK.
Invitation emails are sent from your iCloud email address to the participants you specified.
Share a calendar publicly
1. Click the Share button to the right of the calendar you want to share, then select Public Calendar.
Note: You can also share the same calendar privately. For instructions, see the previous task, “Share a calendar privately.”
2. To invite people to view the calendar, click Email Link.
3. Type one or more email addresses in the To field, then click Done.
The people you specify automatically receive an invitation email that includes the calendar’s URL. An invitee doesn’t need to be an iCloud user to accept an invitation to view a shared public calendar.
You can also resend invitations to one or more invited participants at any time.
Privacy settings that you should enable on your iPhone and iPad
Privacy Settings that you should enable on your iPhone and iPad
Apple hides its System Services settings all the way down at the bottom of the Privacy > Location Services panel. If you've owned your iPhone for more than a few months you'll have dozens (if not hundreds) of app lists on this screen, making it a very long scroll. If you actually make it to the bottom of the list (most people don't) you'll see the fabled System Services setting and the explanation of what that little purple arrow icons means.
Learn this screen and commit the meanings of the three little arrow icons to memory. Then notice when they appear in the top right of your iOS menu bar and come back to Settings > Privacy > Location Services to see which apps are using your location data. Audit this screen frequently to disable location access for apps that don't need it.
Then touch System Services to reveal the most important privacy settings on your iPhone or iPad.
• Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services
I recommend turning OFF the following:
• Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Diagnostics & Usage
The Diagnostics & Usage setting monitors everything you do on your iPhone and "anonymously" sends it to Apple for "improving iOS." If that option is on you're basically giving Apple your permission to monitor and record everything you do on your device.
• Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations
Frequent Locations is equally bad, if not more so.
• Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Location-Based iAds
iAds allows the company – and their "partners and licensees" – to "collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device."
You should also turn ON "Limit Ad Tracking" here:
• Settings > Privacy > Advertising
Lastly, you should turn ON:
• Settings > Safari > Do Not Track
Apple's one of the few companies that still supports the aging Do Not Track standard in its mobile Web browser.
